Linda Carol Lyons

Linda Carol Lyons, 77, of New River Road, Hinton passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at her home following a short illness.

Born July 5, 1948 in Hinton she was a daughter of the late O.G. and Donna Adkins Berry.

Linda was a retired Registered Nurse who had worked 25 years in the Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital Emergency Room, later she worked for the Summers County Council on Aging and Home Healthcare. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and her two little dogs, Sassy and Lucy.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bragg and one brother, Ronald Berry.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Darren Forren (Amy), Darrell Forren (Patrick), Chris Forren (Alice); eight grandchildren, D.J., Alexis (Johnnie), Justin, Jamie, Casey (Caitlin), Abbey (Arielle), Christopher (Maddy) and Zach; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Perry Berry and Greg Berry and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ennis Cemetery at Backus Mountain. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Grandsons; D.J., Jamie, Justin, Casey, Christopher and Zach will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Adkins and Mike Grimmett.
