Linda McAuliffe Obituary

Linda McAuliffe

November 14, 1935 - September 2, 2025

Linda McAuliffe, 89 of Lake Geneva, Wisc., passed peacefully on September 2, 2025 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, Wisc. Linda was born in Little Rock, Ark. to Louis Garbi, and Beatrice Charlebois on November 14, 1935.

Linda worked many years as a hair stylist, owning several of her own shops. Prior to her retiring she worked as a municipal court clerk. She loved to play bingo, cards, and bunco with her friends, and also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Linda was really a garage sale enthusiast. She was a huge reader, and loved to watch classic movies while enjoying a big bowl of ice cream.

Linda loved with her whole heart.

Linda is survived by her children, Jennifer (William) Reitz, Robert Scott (Joy) Peterson, and Lisa (Del) McClure. Linda is further survived by her eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Anthony, Renee, and Eleanor; and her great grandson, Nolan Michael Stonehocker.

Linda's wishes were to not have funeral services, but she wanted everyone who could to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.

Haase-Lockwood & Associates are honored to have served Linda's family.
