Linda Carol McQueen

Linda Carol McQueen, age 75, of Ft. Mitchell, KY passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY surrounded by the love of her family and the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on September 9, 1949, Linda grew up with a strong faith that carried her through every stage of life. She was a devoted follower of Jesus, a woman who found joy in simple blessings, and someone whose kindness touched everyone she met. Throughout her life, Linda worked as a sales associate for several local businesses, where she became known for her warmth, reliability, and friendly smile. Later, she found her greatest calling as a caregiver for children at several daycares. Her gentle nature and unwavering patience made her beloved to countless children and families, leaving behind a legacy of love and care that will be remembered for years to come. Outside of work, above all else, she loved spending time with family, sharing her faith, and offering encouragement to those around her. Preceding Linda in death were her parents and 3 siblings. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 50+ years, Don McQueen; children, Kelly (Wendell) Jefferson, Jenny Courtney, Dustin Courtney, Josh McQueen, and Theresa McQueen; 3 siblings; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A celebration of Linda's life will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, a cause dear to Linda's heart, ensuring that her love for children will continue to bless others for generations to come.
