Linda Meyers Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Graniteville on Mar. 20, 2026.
Mrs. Linda Faye Meyers, 68, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Warrenville, South Carolina.

Linda was the wife of Mr. Royal Meyers, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Together, they had two children, Cristy Meyers and Nicholas Meyers. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Faith Meyers, Chance Blackmon, Kara Meyers, Isaiah Logue, Jacob Logue, and Avery Meyers, Jr., and her great-grandchildren, Isaac Meyers, Waylon Smith, Delilah Smith, Paisley Blackmon, Jackson Blackmon, Brentley Blackmon, and Bentley Smith. She is also survived by her sister Kathy Anderson, and we can't forget her beloved dog, Misty Meyers, who brought her much joy.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Samuel Mitchell, as well as her siblings, Esther Reville, Thomas Mitchell, Jean Iwanicki, and her brother, who was affectionately known as "Monkey" Mitchell.

In her earlier life, Linda was a manager at the Colonial Bakery. Linda had a passion for cooking and loved to host family gatherings, where she would cook large meals. She enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, as well as sewing and crocheting- her granddaughter remembers her creating beautiful Barbie doll clothes and accessories. Her love for children was evident in the way she nurtured and cared for her family, always putting others needs before her own.

Known for her stubborn and headstrong nature, Linda faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, always making the best of every situation. She had a giving spirit and would help anyone she could.

The family will greet friends beginning at 11 o'clock on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Hatcher Funeral Home, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12 o'clock at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery.
