Mr. Terrence Burton "Burt" Johnson, age 53, entered into rest on Monday March 9, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Beth Ennis Johnson; son Brett (Samantha) Johnson; mother Ann Epperly Johnson; brothers Gerald (Sherry) Johnson, Russ (Carmen) Johnson; sister Sonya (Phillip) Napier; grandson Rory Myles Johnson; special niece Maci Johnson; niece Dawn (Allen) Fulmer; nephew John Caleb (Candace) Napier; and special father-in-law Clemson Ennis.
He is preceded in death by his father Russell Terry Johnson.
Burt served Arise Ministries with a compassionate heart and a deep desire to help others find healing and freedom. Burt's life is a reminder that God meets us in our broken places and continues to work in us day by day. Many lives were touched because he chose to show up, to share his story, and to encourage others to keep going. The Arise family is sincerely grateful for the impact he made and the lives he touched through his faith and service.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Thursday March 12, 2026 at 11AM at Langley Bible Church with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Austin Blake Allen, Jeff Stephenson, Christopher Newman, Robert Lynch, Chris Stephens and Ray Green.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to AIM Ministries; PO Box 2825 Evans, Ga 30809.
