Michael Usry

Graniteville - Mr. Michael William Usry, age 56, entered into rest on Saturday March 7, 2026.

He is survived by his mother Frances Hutto Jordan; sons, Easton Lee Scott Usry; daughters, Raegan Annaleise Usry, Charlotte Marie Usry; special companion, Ava Catherine Barron brothers, Rodney Dale Payton, Barry Gene Payton, Kris O'Neil Usry, Ronald Jordan (Kelli), Donald Jordan (Cheryl), Jake Jordan; and nephews, Brock O'Neil Usry, Stephen Troy Payton, Cody Gene Payton, Devin Dale Payton, Jeremy Dale Thomas.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Charles Usry; step father, William Ronald Jordan; and sons, Raymond Ashton Groomes, Jody Brandon Bachelor and Andrew Thomas Bachelor.

Mr. Usry was a truck driver for nearly 40 years. He was a business owner, owning several businesses. He was locally known as being the owner of Graniteville's own Chick-N-Snack. Mike loved animals and was someone who would help anyone who needed it. He was a loving father. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Saturday March 14, 2026 at 2PM at Breezy Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Napier officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12PM until the time of service at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Alex Glass, Brock Usry, Michael Rearden, Wyatt Barron, Robert Langford, Arhens Dederscheck, Raymond Groomes and Wes Dederscheck. Ashley Groomes, John James and Wayne Hutto will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Jackson Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with these arrangements.
