LINDA MILLER Obituary

LINDA MILLER Linda Kay Miller, age 69, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. She was born on June 25, 1956, in Trenton, Missouri, to Billy and Twila Miller, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Mike Miller of Ravanna, and her sister, Brenda Holmes. Linda was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus with all her heart and lived her life guided by faith and compassion. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She is survived by her daughters, Brandy Shaffer (Todd Shaffer), parents of Ean and Emily; and Amy Nguyen (Nguyen Nguyen), parents of Alara, Evan, and Lily. Linda showered her grandchildren with love, gifts, and unforgettable memories, and her presence in their lives was a true blessing. Linda was formerly married to John Shilt, the father of her daughters. Linda always held a deep and lasting love for him, a love she carried with her throughout her life. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life: cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, enjoying ladies' lunches, playing bunco, exploring garage sales and thrift stores, and traveling with friends. Her zest for life and her ability to find joy in everyday moments were truly inspiring. A celebration of life will be held in the coming months at Life Church in Kansas City. Details will be announced at a later date.
