Linda A. Miller, 65, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 24, 2025, in Mechanicsburg, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on January 30, 1960, in
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, she was the cherished daughter of the late Arlene Miller.
Linda attended John Harris High School and went on to dedicate her life wholeheartedly to her family. She was the devoted wife of Eugene "Geno" P. Farrell, a proud retired Lower Paxton Township Police Officer and a Dauphin County Deputy Sheriff, and the loving mother of two daughters who were her greatest joy. Though her beginnings were humble, Linda's heart was boundless-she spent her life ensuring that her children, family, and friends never went without love, comfort, or care.
Linda had a gift for giving. She was the person everyone turned to, the one who would lend a hand, a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on. To know her was to feel seen, loved, and valued. She was something special to everyone she met-a confidant, a caretaker, a constant source of light.
Sundays often found Linda at VVA Bingo on Derry Street, where laughter and friendship filled her heart. And whenever she could, she escaped to Rehoboth Beach-her "home away from home"-where she found peace in the rhythm of the waves and the salt in the air.
Linda's legacy of love lives on in the family she adored: her beloved husband, Eugene "Geno" P. Farrell; her daughters, Melinda Montero and husband, Johnny of Enola, and April Schreck and husband, Jason of Colonial Park; her grandchildren, Kyler, Kolin, and Kaden Schreck, and Severus Montero; and her precious great-granddaughter, Clementine Schreck. She is also survived by her brothers, Scott Miller and wife, Tina of Middletown; Lavern "Vern" Miller and wife, Gina of Mechanicsburg; and Michael Miller and wife, Shirl of Middletown; her sister, Dana Heckard and husband, Harrison, Jr. of Linglestown; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Arlene Miller, and her niece, Jeniffer Heckard-Armour.
Linda's absence leaves an ache that words can scarcely capture. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her laughter, her fierce love, and the way she made everyone feel like family. The world is dimmer without her, but her light will continue to shine through all those whose lives she touched.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M, at Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, in Harrisburg.
