Linda Lou Mullings, age 83, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2026. She passed away peacefully in the hospital with her loving family by her side.
Linda was born on September 26, 1942, in Walker County, Alabama, to Irving B. "Jack" Prince and Vivian Roberta Prince.
On June 21, 1996, Linda married the love of her life, Marvin Mullings.
Linda's life was a testament to love, laughter, strength, and unwavering kindness. With a heart of gold and a will of steel, she faced every challenge with grace. She never complained-no matter how difficult the situation-choosing instead to persevere with faith and humor. She had a remarkable gift for making others laugh, and her warm smile left an impression everywhere she went. To Linda, there were no strangers; everyone she met became a friend.
She cherished time with family and friends, especially camping trips and peaceful drives through the Cascades. She loved accompanying Marvin on his hunting trips-though she wasn't a hunter herself; she treasured the time they shared together. Some of her most favorite moments were date nights with Marvin: a nice dinner followed by time together at the casino.
Linda's creativity shone through her crocheting, crafting blankets and keepsakes for those she loved. She also enjoyed reading, working on puzzles with Marvin, and spending time with her beloved dogs, who meant the world to her. Her gentle, loving nature was reflected in everything she did. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Irving B. "Jack" Prince and Vivian Roberta Prince; and her sisters, Joanna "Jan" Prince and Vivian Dolores "Dolores" Prince.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Marvin Mullings; her children-Laura L. Valdez (Tammy), Scotty Gibbs, Bill Holbrook, Al Mullings, Steven Mullings, Jenny Timberlake, and Jeff Mullings; along with 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, her sister Jackie Case, and numerous nieces and nephews.
