Linda Newman Obituary
Linda Marie Griffith Newman, 64, of Sapphire, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was a native of York, South Carolina and the daughter of the late Dean and Beulah Mae Lewis Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Steven J. Newman.
Linda enjoyed her flowers and gardening, peaceful afternoons, and taking her strolls down the road. She loved Jesus and loved her family, her children and her grandchildren.
Her survivors include her children, Dennis Wayne Newman (Amanda), Jennifer Newman (John McKinney) and Kaycee Newman-King; grandchildren: Clover Penelopi King, Savannah Jade King, Lila Newman, Alex Newman, Savadi Newman and Kegan Newman; her sisters Gina Jenkins and Sharon Lovelace and her brother, Raymond Griffith.
A Memorial Service for Linda Newman will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard with Rev. Rick Plotts officiating.
