Linda Oden peacefully passed to her eternal home in Heaven at the age of 77 on March 19, 2024, in Semmes, Alabama.

She was born on July 17, 1946 in Bradford, PA to Amos and Martha Schaffer and was the eighth child of nine. She was one of eight sisters and had one brother. After meeting her husband, Bobby there in Bradford, Pennsylvania she moved to Mobile, Alabama.

Mrs. Oden was a devoted Christian and prayer warrior who served on prayer teams most of her adult life. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Bobby Clark Oden, her son and daughter-in-law Joe and Trisha Oden and their children, Noah, Abigail, and Jaxon Oden; her step-son and daughter-in-law, John and Annette Oden and their children, Justin Oden and Aliyah Oden Hines (Tolbert Hines); siblings, Joan Heller, Marilyn Gross, Maurine Schaffer, Henry Schaffer, Carol Steele, and many other relatives and friends.
