Linda Gail Scott

Linda Gail Scott, age 54, passed away on December 20, 2023, in Mobile, AL. She was born on July 17, 1969, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to her parents Roy and Wanda Hastings. Ms. Scott worked as an accountant throughout her professional career. She loved spending her free time going to the beach, hanging out with friends and family and traveling.

Ms. Scott was preceded in death by her father, Roy Hastings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Andrew William Scott of Mobile, AL, Tuesday Paige Scott Mobile, AL, and Gary Taylor Scott of Charleston, SC; mother, Wanda Hastings of Palestine, AR; brothers, Ritchie Hastings of Forrest City, AR and Rex Hastings of Palestine, AR; cousins, Kertrena Cope of Manila, AR, Frankie Hooker of Palestine, AR and Tommy Harris of Hornersville, MO; numerous other relatives and many friends.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Tom Gibson in Mobile, AL on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm.

Services will continue in Forrest City, Arkansas at Steven's Funeral Home on Saturday, December 30, 2023, with visitation from 12:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Gary Scott, Jeff Burcham, Michael Burcham, Areal Hastings, Troy Thweatt, and Bob Cope.
