Linda was born on August 21, 1951 to Lena (Gallagher) and Albert Serrata in Sinton, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton. Linda enjoyed playing bingo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Lena Serrata; siblings: Mary Esther Rodriguez, Janie Serrata, Albert Serrata, NevaJo Bazan and Frances Serrata.
Survivors include her loving husband: Concepcion "Concho" Serda from Sinton, Texas; sons: Steven Serda (Pamela) from Portland, Texas and Joseph Serda from Sinton, Texas; daughter: Leticia Vega (Tomas, Jr.) from Corpus Christi, Texas; 4 grandchildren: CJ Bustillo, Skylar Bustillo, Thomas Vega and Victoria Terrell; sister: Rose Escobar from Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will begin Friday, May 31, 2024, 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 1, 2024, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Interment will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
