Linda Sprecher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Whispering Pines Funeral Home on Mar. 27, 2026.
Linda Marlene Sprcher, 78, of Prineville, Oregon, passed away on March 3, 2026, in Prineville, Oregon.

She was born on December 17, 1948, in Canby, Oregon, to Clint and Ruth (Hepler) Pressel. Linda grew up in Oregon City and attended Oregon City High School.

She was a devoted wife and stay-at-home mother, while also working part-time as a florist and as a sales consultant for home cooks. She was known for her red hair, sense of humor, gift of hospitality and her love of entertaining.

Linda had a deep passion for ministering to the homeless and those in need. She was especially known for making special birthday cakes for them, ensuring each person felt seen and valued. In Prineville Alone, she served over 14.000 meals to those in need. She also ministered in Clackamas County, where she helped prepare thousands of lunches and meals. Her greatest desire was that each person she served would come to know and love the Jesus she faithfully followed, and she would love to see you come to Jesus and meet you in heaven.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne; her daughter, Cheri; and her son Rodney, all of Prineville, as well as her sister Marilyn and sister Vicki, many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clint and Ruth Pressel, and siblings Leon and Patty Pressel.

A celebration of life will be held on May 2, 2026 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Prineville.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She loved Jesus and wanted to spread the joy of knowing and walking daily wit Him. She would love to see you come to Jesus and meet you in heaven
