Beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Linda Diane Staker passed away on November 4, 2025, after a
brief illness.

Linda was born on May 28, 1967, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third of three children. She was preceded
in death by her sister, Laurie Staker, who died in infancy.

A 1985 graduate of Brighton High School, Linda was a proud member of the Dance Team and DECA. She loved to move, to create, and to express herself through fashion-her energy, confidence, and
style always stood out.

In the 1990s, Linda blended her passions for dance, fashion, and business into a vibrant and fearless
career. She helped shape the local nightlife scene through her involvement with Xenon Dance Club and
several restaurants and coffee shops. But her true legacy will always be the Confetti Club. Confetti
wasn't just a place to dance-it was a home. Linda created a safe, welcoming space where young
adults could be themselves, make friends, and feel seen. She nurtured an entire generation of "Confetti
Kids," many of whom still share how deeply she and the club impacted their lives.

Linda was a true hustler-always working, connecting, and dreaming. Life gave her challenges, but she
met each one with grit, a radiant smile, and a wicked sense of humor. She never lost her childlike joy. In
later years, she sold toys for a living and always kept extras on hand for anyone she thought needed a
smile. She was kind and generous, known for her big heart and her deep love of animals. Anyone who
knew her knew how much she adored her dogs-and that, given the chance, she would have filled her
home with every stray she met.

Family was very important to her, and she especially enjoyed holiday gatherings. She devoted much of
her time and energy to caring for her mother in the later years of Marilyn's life.

Being with Linda was always an adventure. Every restaurant visit included a glass of prosecco, a story
or two, and a server who inevitably became her new best friend. Her spirit was magnetic, her laughter
unforgettable, and her presence a gift to all who knew her.

Linda earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Westminster University in 2013 and
was known for her sharp business sense.

She is survived by her brother, Brian Clinton Staker, of Salt Lake City; a niece and nephew, Mollie Noel Staker and Jasper Clinton Staker; numerous cousins in the area;
and many dear friends throughout the community.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 16, 2026, at Liquid Joe's.
