Linda L. Straub Paul, age 74, of Erie, passed away Sunday, March 17th, 2024.
She was born July 20th, 1949 in Erie, a daughter to the late Martin and Lucille (Weber) Kneissler.
Linda was a graduate of Academy High School, Hamot Hospital School of Nursing, and the University of St. Francis. She was an RN, RN BSN, and RFNA. She was employed at Hamot Hospital ICU, Lakeside/Lake Erie Women’s Center, Dr. Danielle Duchene and Adagio Health. She was instructor for the SPEC program of LECOM.
Lyn was one of a kind force of nature with one of the most beautiful, joyous and impish souls. She had a positive influence on many lives. So smart, witly, kind, fun, and a great cook! She will be sorely missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill; and infant son, Jeremy.
Lyn is survived by her husband Jeffrey; daughter, Amie, of Erie; son, Geoff and his wife Megan, and grandchildren, Abby and Brody Straub, all of Pittsburgh
Friends and family are invited to call at the Burton Quinn-Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie on Saturday, March 23rd from noon until the time of memorial service there at 2 pm.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 E. 10th St., Erie, PA 16511.
