Linda Jo Timms

Linda Jo Ledbetter Timms, 80, of Pilot Point, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2023. She was born March 28,1943 in Lewisville, Texas to Bud and Gertrude Ledbetter. She attended Lewisville High School class of 1961. She attended Texas Woman's University where she earned a degree in nursing.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Gertrude; brothers, James and David Ledbetter; and sister, Martha Ledbetter Dungan; and husband, Roy Timms.
She is survived by her children Debbie (Greg) Lee, Billy (Lynette) Walker, Amy (Rick) Dennis; grandchildren, Colt (Remington) Walker, Meghin (Mickey) Knighten, Robby Thompson, Jordan (Ariahna) Lee, Jarrett Lee, Adam Wild, Kaylee Walker, Anna Walker, and Kade LeMaster; great-grandchildren, Naomi Teague, Bryson Robinson, Logan and Ethan Knighten; brother, Billy (Janice) Ledbetter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was married to Roy Timms for 27 years. She was a nurse in her community for over 20 years. She will be remembered for her love of music and her love for her family and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10:00AM at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A memorial service will follow with son-in-law Greg Lee officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Round Grove Cemetery, Lewisville, TX.
