Sadly, our beloved, Linda Anne Turiano, 75, of Lake Worth, FL passed away peacefully at home on Feb 5th, 2025 after a very sudden decline in her health. She was received by Jesus surrounded by her cherished family.
Linda was born on May 3, 1949 to the late Walter and Dorothy Gancorz in Bridgeport, CT. She was the oldest to her sister, Dotsy. Linda met the love of her life and beloved husband, Louis John Turiano Jr. in high school and graduated from Central High School in 1967. Linda and Lou married on May 16th, 1970. They immediately started their family and welcomed three girls, ChrissyLyn, Aimee and Jaime. She spent most of her life in Monroe, CT and moved to Lake Worth, FL in 2015.
Linda wore many hats throughout her life and excelled at every job she encountered. She was a secretary at Masuk High School in Monroe, CT. She later worked as a Manager/Purchasing Agent at Party World and an Office Manager to Banner Systems in Milford, CT. She then moved on as a legal assistant/paralegal for lawyers in Bridgeport CT. In recent years, she enjoyed being a Sales Associate at Dillards where she shone as their top sales associate being awarded Associate of the Month multiple times. She enjoyed her time at Dillard and made many strong and lasting friendships.
She was highly active throughout her entire life. Linda enjoyed ceramics in her early years, dance and crocheting. She became a pilates and zumba instructor and enjoyed spending her time shopping; she loved her shoes and pocketbooks. She had a love for Broadway Shows and visiting NYC, especially with her granddaughter, Breeann. But most of all, she enjoyed the precious time she spent with family and listening to the music her husband sang to her.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Louis J Turiano, Jr. devoted daughters, ChrissyLyn Myers, Aimee Turiano and Jaime Scheck (Chris); 5 grandchildren, Breeann Turiano, Michael Misinonile Jr., Katelyn Armstrong (Clayton), Steven Scheck and Louis Scheck; 2 great grandchildren, Greyson and Beckham Armstrong; sister, Dotsy Costantini; Nieces and Nephews, Tony, Michael, Joey, Angela, Kim, Laurie, Margie, Louie, Jeffrey, Gina, Gene, Denise, Jimmy, Richie, Jonathan and Megan; many second and third nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by nieces and nephews, Johnny, Danielle, Lisa and Sammy
