Linda S. Webster, 74, of Peru passed away at 1:00PM, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Carmel, IN, on June 3, 1950, the daughter of John and Edith Henley Kirk. Linda married Thomas Webster on Dec. 2, 1994 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2020. Linda was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She graduated from Carmel High School and Ball State University. She and her husband, Tom, owned and operated Webster Insurance Agency in Peru retiring in 2019. Linda loved traveling and spending time with Tom at the lake. She was compassionate and kind to everyone she met. Linda exhibited unique serenity and calmness infused with gentleness and beauty. Linda is survived by her children Angie Bender and her husband Jeff of Fishers, IN, Ricky Johnson of Carmel, IN, Courtney Howay and her husband Pat of Indianapolis and Adam Webster of Peru; grandchildren Jack Howay, Sam Howay, Abby Bender,Charlie Bender and Eli Bender; brother Thomas Kirk and his wife Patricia of Carmel and a sister-in-law Victoria Webster of Peru. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom, a son, Matthew Webster, and brothers Robert and Kenneth Kirk. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Linda S. Webster will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2024, the St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. 5th St, Peru with Rev. Adam Mauman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St, Peru, IN. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 PM Thursday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the St. Charles Catholic Church.
