Linda Lee Wilks, age 83, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 5, 2025 with her ex-daughter-in-law, Barbara J. Wilks, by her side.
Linda was born on May 10, 1942 in Ford County, Kansas, the daughter of Enyard and Eula Mae (Brown) Speer.
She worked various jobs in and around Ottawa. Linda loved to go to yard sales, spend time with family, and go for long rides.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Terry, Larry, Darrell and Ron; and sisters Corky, Becky and Leota.
Survivors include daughters Cindy, Romona, Sharon, and Maxine; son Clarence Wilks, Jr.; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brothers Don and Cleo; sisters Dona, Vicki, and Vivian; along with many nieces and nephews.
Linda touched many of hearts through the years and will be missed by all.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date.
