Linda Faye Wilson, 78, of Okemah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community. Born in Perry, Oklahoma, Linda began working as a teenager and continued tirelessly until the age of 74. Her work ethic was matched only by her generous spirit. She was deeply involved in her church and in community efforts such as Operation Christmas Child, always finding ways to give back and uplift others. Linda found great joy in crafting and baking, passions she shared with friends and family alike. Her warmth, creativity, and strong faith made her a cherished presence in every life she touched. She is survived by her son Daniel Harvey; daughter Leah Carpenter; step daughter Cori Miramontes; son-in-law Richard Miramontes, and step son Barrett Vorhis; grandchildren RJ, Chasity, Ricky, Romey, Camron, and Cayden; great-grandsons, Jamesin, Jace, Jonah, Gunner. Ashton and Ashley; Cousin Dewane Wilson and many many other loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by father, George Wilson; mother Faye Church, husband, Jerome Vorhis and grandson Mackie. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Funeral Home in Okemah. Reception to follow. All who knew and loved Linda are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. In honor of Linda's memory and her generous heart, the family welcomes donations to Operation Christmas Child or your local church community programs in lieu of flowers. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
