"Forever In Our Hearts"
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter,
the smiles, I've only gone to rest a while.
Although my leaving causes pain and grief,
my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.
So, dry your eyes and remember me,
not as I am now but as I used to be.
I will remember you all and look on with a smile,
understand in your hearts I've only gone to rest a while.
As long as I have the love of each of you,
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
"Mother"
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
Though your voice has faded, and your touch now gone,
in our hearts, your love will forever dawn.
Guiding us through life, with wisdom and grace,
now in eternity, you find your resting place.
By the hearth of memory, your light still shines,
glowing in the stories of olden times.
Your laughter, your tears, the lessons you shared,
in our hearts, we'll hold dear.
In your garden of memories, where the roses bloom,
your spirit dances, dispelling our gloom.
With hands that nurtured, and a heart so deep,
in our souls, your memory we'll forever keep.
If roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for thee,
place them in my Mother's arms, and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart That will never go away.
