Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday November 5th from 4-7 PM.

Funeral services will be privately held.

Lindley (Lyn) H. Churchill, 73 of Hurley, NY passed away at home on October 31st, 2025.

Lyn graduated in 1970 from Saugerties High School. He graduated from New Hampshire College with a Bachelors in accounting to become a CPA. He was a partner in Sickler, Torccia, Allen and Churchill CPAs until he retired. He was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross, Kingston Rotary (past president), the Kingston Elks Lodge (former exalted ruler), and Boy Scouts of America (former Scout Master Troop 20 Hurley, NY). He remained active until his death. He was an avid outdoorsman in his free time, he loved to read and spending time with his grandchildren.

Lyn is predeceased by his parents Lindley V. Churchill and Hazel Churchill (Tobias) of Mount Marion, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Linda. His eldest son L. David and his sons Marcus, Cameron and step son Ryan Christie. His youngest son Shane and wife Courtney, their daughter Lennox and Shane's sons Darrin and Cayden. Lyn is also survived by his brother Victor, his wife Roxanne and their daughters Jessie and Jaime.

The family sends a heartfelt thank you to everyone whose lives were touched by Lyn. Despite all that is wrong with the world, life is beautiful…. Because it holds countless opportunities for loving.
