It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lindsay Lois Harris on December 21, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on April 24, 1985, Lindsay lived a life defined by passion, determination, and boundless love for her family.

Beloved wife of Gregory Keith Smola; loving mother of Elsie Bea Smola and June Violet Smola; cherished daughter of Fern Gordon and Jeff Harris; stepdaughter of Hal Gordon and Pam Harris; adored sister of Rachael Gordon and stepbrother Matthew Wiley;  beloved sister-in-law of Matthew Osborne and Neil Smola; treasured daughter-in-law of Peter and Elizabeth Smola; dear niece of Jay Harris; and devoted aunt to Lucas Osborne, Claire and Lucas Smola.

Family and friends are invited to a brief Chapel Service Monday, December 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Joseph Levine & Sons, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA. The service will be webcast at https://www.levinefuneral.com/trevose-webcam.html

Following the service, only the immediate family will leave promptly for a private interment. Shiva or a gathering will not be held afterward. Instead, a Memorial Gathering honoring Lindsay’s beautiful life and spirit is being planned at a location that reflects her essence and creativity—a place where we can all heal together, embrace her spirit, and celebrate the light and beauty of Lindsay’s life. Details and a date will be forthcoming.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lindsay’s memorial fund established to support Lindsay’s two young daughters.

As a child, Lindsay was bright, fierce, and rebellious—a spirit that lives on in her beloved daughters. She was known for her curiosity and sense of adventure, often hiding in department store clothing racks and emerging with her trademark grin.

A die-hard summer camp enthusiast, Lindsay spent her summers at Golden Slipper, first as a camper and later as a counselor. These formative years gave her a deep sense of confidence and independence that would shape the rest of her life. One of her greatest hopes was that her daughters would follow in her footsteps and create their own cherished memories at camp.

Lindsay had a deep appreciation for music, first catching the bug with The Beatles. She loved attending live shows, where her vibrant energy was contagious. At home, her favorite pastime was dancing with her daughters, filling the house with laughter, rhythm, and love. She gave her girls every ounce of love humanly possible, fostering joy and a sense of wonder in their lives.

In her professional life, Lindsay was a driven and talented expert in digital marketing and design, combining creativity with strategic insight to excel in her field. She was deeply committed to supporting other career-focused women, both as a mentor and mentee, building a legacy of connection and empowerment in her professional community.

Lindsay’s life was a testament to her ability to dream big and execute those dreams with skill and determination. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to chart a course to achieve it. Her warmth, intellect, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her.
