In loving memory of Lindsey Carolee Roberson, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the age of 34. Lindsey was born on Wednesday, October 24, 1990, in Sumter, South Carolina, and resided in Turbeville, SC.
A beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Lindsey was cherished by her family and community. She leaves behind three adored children, Jase Lee Keith, Asher Grey Springs, and Sawyer James Springs. Her mother and step-father, Beth & Ricky Godwin of the Barrineau Community, and her father and step-mother, Ralph and Fran Roberson of Gable, were her steadfast supporters throughout her life. She is also survived by her sister, Kelli & Mark Smith of the Barrineau Community, along with step-siblings Renee Mixon, Cherryl Ann Smith, James Beeman, Jackie Jordan, and Amber Filyaw. She was a cherished aunt to Ellie Elizabeth Smith, and Ryleigh Smith. Lindsey held a special place in the hearts of her aunts, Susan Lecklitner and Marcia Roberson, her dear neighbors, Mae Mae and JJ, and a former patient’s daughter, Denise Roberson, among a host of extended family and friends.
Lindsey's life will be celebrated with a service at 4 pm on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in the sanctuary of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by Rev. Bobby Floyd and Rev. Michael Cantey. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm on the same day at the church and at other times at the home of Beth & Ricky Godwin, 1611 Lucky Road, Lake City, SC.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carol and Rudolph Barrineau, paternal grandparents, Leon Ralph and Mary Lee Roberson, her maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy J. Welsh, a nephew, Sammy Filyaw, and a special patient, Joe Jones.
A dedicated registered nurse, Lindsey was a proud 2009 graduate of East Clarendon High School and completed her nursing education at Florence Darlington Technical College's School of Nursing. Her commitment and passion for caring for others were evident in her professional endeavors and personal relationships.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Floyd Funeral Home, P.O. Box 67, Olanta, SC 29114, to assist with funeral expenses.

Lindsey will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her compassionate nature, and her vibrant spirit that brightened the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever treasured in our hearts.
