Linea Elizabeth Wagner, age 88, of Hillsboro, passed away August 26, 2025. She was born the daughter of the late Clarence and Nanaline E. Cottrell Johnson on September 13, 1936 in Middleboro, KY. Linea loved her family deeply and spent her whole life caring for those in her family. She was a wife, mother to seven children, grandmother to eight grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, caring for birds, and completing puzzle books. Linea is survived by her children, Darlene Williamson of Hillsboro, Bobby (Laura) Wagner of Willettsville, Danny Wagner of Lynchburg, Jerry (Sharon) Wagner of Hillsboro, and Mark (Beth) Wagner of Greenfield; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and siblings, Lloyd Johnson, Tony Johnson, Linda Watson, Martha Johnson, Ida Pace, Wanda Weaver, Chris Lemaster, and Marie Sparks. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Wagner; sons, Preston Wagner Jr. and David Wagner; grandsons, Aaron Wagner and Shane Wagner; and siblings, Merf Johnson, Vernie Britton, Ruth Duncan and Billie Caddell. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Ruble Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
