Linette Carol Hamlet

Linette Hamlet, born on October 5, 1949, in Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, in North Carolina at the age of 75.
Linette dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a teacher. Her passion for education and unwavering commitment to her students left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of learning from her. Beyond her professional life, Linette cherished her family above all else, finding joy and fulfillment in the company of her loved ones. She also enjoyed cooking and spent years volunteering after relocating to North Carolina.
She is survived by her beloved children, Aiyauna Terry Thompson (Phillip) of Everette, Ma, Vaughn Hamlet (Efrain) of Southern Pines, NC and Shinead Hamlet-Terry (Paul) of Southern Pines, NC, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Grandchildren Aniya, Kaleel, Phillip Jr., and Phoebe. As well as 4 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her father, sister, mother and oldest son, as well as close friends and family.
A service in her memory will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and cherish the memories she leaves behind.
