December 17, 1951 – March 23, 2026 Donaldsonville, LA The community mourns the passing of Lionel J. Henry, lovingly known as Bling Bling," who departed this life on March 23, 2026, at the age of 74. A proud native of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, Lionel was widely recognized for his exceptional barbecue and his passion for cooking. Through his business, he brought people together, serving not just food, but joy, comfort, and connection.
Lionel was truly the life of the party. Known as a "dancing machine," he filled every room with energy, laughter, and rhythm. His love for dancing and celebration made him unforgettable to all who crossed his pat He leaves behind a legacy of love, flavor, and vibrant spirit that will forever live on in the hearts of family, friends, and community. Well done, good and faithful servant.
