Lionell Bones Wheeler passed away October 7,2025 at Flannery Oaks in Baton Rouge, LA. He was 70 years old.
Survived by 3 brothers, Emmanuel Walker of Baton Rouge, Ira and Chuck Walker of Chicago, Illinois and 1 sister Lorraine Wheeler of New Hampshire. 2 daughters, 3 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
Lionell was known to everyone by Bones. He was a signmaker and owner of Creative Signs for more than 45 years. He was well known not only in Baton Rouge but all across the United States for his talent for making signs, from LSU to Dale Earnhardt Nascar Racing even the famous Elvis Presley TCB signs. He loved telling stories, watching football and eating crayfish and watermelon.
