Obituary of Lisa Anita Aguilar
Lisa Anita Aguilar passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday May 1st at 9:10pm in Hollister, CA after a long fight with cancer. She is survived by her son and daughter, Jesse and Isabel.
Lisa was one of the most hard working, determined and kind people you could ever meet. She was a family oriented woman through and through. Her kids meant the world to her, were always her priority and even as things got more difficult for her she continued to make sure they were always taken care of and doing as best as possible.
When talking about hard working people one couldn't not think of Lisa. She always worked any job she could to take care of her family while also attending school to become a medical assistant. Once she accomplished that goal she spent most of her professional career working as a medical assistant in dermatology in the Bay Area. She was always looking for ways to better herself and proceeded to transition from working as a medical assistant to teaching medical assisting.
Besides her career she had many interests and hobbies. She was a die hard and life long fan of the San Francisco Giants. Her wardrobe outside of work always consisted of one of her many Giants hats along with something sporting a Giants logo or design. People would see her and always ask, "Did you just come from the game?" It wasn't just a wardrobe choice for her though since one of her favorite things to do was go to games as much as possible when the Giants were playing at home, especially when they'd be playing the Dodgers. One of the dreams she had was to watch the Giants play in every ballpark. She was only able to see them play at Petco Park and Chase Field, unfortunately, but of the two she preferred Petco due to how nice of a ballpark she thought it was along with all of the food options.
Lisa's other big interest was animals. She had a deep love and care for animals as a whole with her main focus being on helping rescues and animal shelters with fostering kittens. This interest alone speaks volumes to how hard working she was since she would regularly foster kittens while also working full time and maintaining her household. Fostering kittens is a very demanding job so doing that on top of everything else she had going on was nothing short of inspiring and a testament to her care and determination. There were even moments where she would be bottle feeding kittens while also teaching class, she was a true master of multi tasking.
Lisa will truly be missed but she will never be forgotten. She was loved by so many people and she will forever live on in their memories due to all of the fond and memorable moments they shared with her.

My condolences to her family. I didn´t know she had passed. I have many fond memories of transporting animals out of kill shelters and we both shared a love of cats. She had such a beautiful spirit and smile. I´m so very sorry for your loss.

Lisa was probably the most kindest gentle caring person I knew, her love for her family and all the fosters she cared for over the years shone so brightly. I will miss her very deeply, she fought cancer with so much passion and bravery, never giving up, no matter what. Thank you from ACGSR Lisa, for all your years of devotion and love, we were blessed to have known you. God bless your soul, and may He give strength and courage to Joseph, Jesse and Isabel as they carry on without you but forever holding you in their hearts. My love Vivian ACGSRescue.
