MILLBURY- Lisa M. Berube, 43, passed away on Thursday, March 5th surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa leaves behind many who loved her deeply, her life partner, Shawn Leith; her mother, Jean MacDonald and her husband, Roderick; and her father, Donald Berube and his wife, Kathy. She was the proud and loving mother of Olivia Dean and Zoey Richmond and her husband, Steven. Lisa was overjoyed as she looked forward to welcoming her first grandchild, expected by Zoey and Steven. Lisa is also survived by her sister, Julie Berube; her stepbrothers, Christopher Nolan and his wife, Kellee, and Roderick P. MacDonald; her stepsister, Tara Ogden; her cousin, Jillian Cano; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her stepbrother, Jason Nolan.
Lisa graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 2000 and then received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2015 from Worcester State University. For many years, Lisa worked as a dog groomer and poured her heart into caring for animals, rescuing many cherished pets over the years. She was a passionate reader and loved true crime stories and documentaries. Lisa also loved the outdoors, finding joy in camping adventures and horseback riding.
The family would like to thank Lakeside 2 ICU of UMMC for all their compassionate and extraordinary care.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lisa’s life at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a prayer service at 12:30 p.m.
