Richard C. Cedar, 75, of Sutton MA passed away suddenly on March 11, 2026.
Richard leaves his wife of 50 years, Maureen A. Cedar; two daughters: Tiana D. Cedar of Whitinsville and Tiffany L. Allard wife of Henry Allard Jr. of Auburn; four grandchildren: Isabella M. Kniskern of Douglas, Fiona R. Comeau of Millbury, Zoey R. Comeau of Millbury, Jake T. Allard of Auburn and future great grandchild Maddox McCall making his debut in June of 2026; three siblings: David Cedar of Elmira, NY, Michael Cedar of Worcester and Karie Hagerty of Weare, NH, his niece Courtney Manning of Berlin, MA and several other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Lorraine Cedar of Berlin, MA
Richard graduated from Tahonto Regional High School, Boylston, MA and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Forces, while serving he worked as a jet mechanic. After returning home, he worked as a truck driver for over 50 years.
Richard loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Going on cruises and island hopping, dining out, gardening, doing yard work, vacationing at Old Orchard Beach with family and spending summers by the pool. He was a kind, caring and loving man who will be sadly missed.
A private family celebration of life will be held in his honor.
