Lisa C. Campise

Lisa C. Campise, 47, of Sugar Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at home on June 15, 2023. She was born on April 12, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois.
Lisa worked for 20+ years in Social Work with a majority of her time in the Sugar Grove community. She has been part of the Kaneland community working in several schools with Harter Middle School being the most recent. She cherished the friendships and connections made with those who she came in contact with.
To Lisa, her family was everything! She supported her children in their sporting endeavors as well as their academia. Lisa loved the beach, the sun, wind blowing through her hair while driving and she lived for trips to wherever she could find them, whether it was Florida, Nashville, Hawaii, or anywhere the sun was shining.
Lisa was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church in Sugar Grove.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe Campise; her children, Anthony (17), Angelina (15) and Luciana (12); her brothers, Anthony (Gianna) and Nicholas (Karen) Neumann; her mother, Joine Neumann; her father, Joseph Neumann; her nieces and nephews, Natalie and Gianna Campise, Sofia, Michael, Gemma, Anthony, Aiden, Dax, Eli and Mia Neumann; her mother-in-law, JoAnn Campise and her brother-in-law, Gino (Katie) Campise.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joe Campise and her nephew Charlie Neumann.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 10 am until the Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8S055 Dugan Rd., Sugar Grove, Illinois 60554.
