Lisa M. Casale, 52 of Clifton, N.J., formerly of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Belleville, N.J., Lisa spent most of her life in Cedar Grove before recently relocating to Clifton. Lisa was always happiest spending time with her family. She loved trips to the Jersey shore, boardwalk arcades with her cousins, AC casinos with her Mom & Dad, and family picnics and parties. She also enjoyed playing cards, puzzle books, scratch-offs, coffee and desserts, and an occasional Fireball shot!
Everyone had a special place in their heart for Lisa. She leaves behind a spirit of love that touched the lives of everyone she met.
Lisa is predeceased by her grandparents Wanda and Joseph Carfagna, and Angela and Orlando Casale; aunts and uncles Judy and John Lupo, Grace Del Preore, and Gib Van Zile.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Anthony and Joann (nee Carfagna) Casale; her beloved brother, Anthony Casale; as well as her aunts and uncles Joyce Van Zile (Mike),
Janice Van Zile, and John Glendenning (Betty). Lisa will be lovingly remembered by her cousins, Scott (Kelly), Kristin (Eric), Kyle (Jasmina), John (Debbie), Geralanne (Mike), and Eugene (Anna).
Visitation will be Sunday October 20, 2024 2pm-6pm at Shook's Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 21, 2024 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate.
