Lisa Cooley Obituary
Lisa spent the majority of her life living in Chattanooga, Tennessee and worked as hair stylist and master barber for over forty years. She cherished all of the friendships she made throughout her career. Lisa's favorite place to be was at the beach with her family, watching sunsets, paddle boarding and collecting seashells. Lisa also enjoyed pastimes such as spending time in the woods, collecting antiques, watching football, sitting by bonfires with friends, listening to music, cooking, and gardening.
Lisa was a lifelong faithful member of Soddy Church of Christ. Lisa was a kind, caring, and generous person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. Lisa was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage and dignity. Lisa is survived by her husband; Terry Cooley, daughter; Shelbea Oliver (Xacharias), dog; Stella, grand-kitties; Grimm and Mila, parents; Carl and Midge Harrison, sisters; Mickey Gibbs (Keith) and Carla Wilson (Toney), niece; Lindsey Smith (Craig), nephew; Harrison Gibbs (Tabitha) and great nieces and nephews; Cannon Smith, Cora Smith, and Gideon Gibbs.
A memorial service in celebration of Lisa's life will be held on October 3, 2025, at 5pm at Soddy Church of Christ. Lisa was a lover of animals, especially sea turtles. Because of this, her family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to…
