Lisa Ann Dapson

Lisa Ann Dapson, of LaFayette, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 17th, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Lisa Ann Maynard was born May 17th, 1964, to Joan and Frank Maynard in Schenectady, New York, the youngest of four children. In 1980 she met the love of her life, Scott, in southern California. They returned to Upstate New York and were married on June 5th, 1982. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her most precious title in life was that of "Dua" to her three grandsons who she loved with all her heart and soul. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her funny moments and her unwavering, unconditional love for her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her sister Robyn.
Lisa is survived and dearly missed by her husband, Scott Dapson, daughter Sara Dapson of East Patchogue, NY, son Kyle Dapson of LaFayette, NY, daughter Kati Loveland and son in law Christopher Loveland of Monroe, North Carolina, her three grandchildren; Chase, Austin and Owen Loveland; her brother Frank Maynard and sister Debra Butler.
A calling hour will be held from 10AM to 11AM on Tuesay, September 24th at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY 13084.
A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11AM.
Burial will follow in LaFayette Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, a cause close to Lisa's heart.
