Lisa Brock Deaver passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025. She was 54.

Lisa resided in the Brock's Chapel area near Mount Olive with her husband, Jed. As a licensed cosmetologist, she had operated a hairstyling and beauty salon, along with a tanning center. Other past employment includes the operating of the family business, Eddins Candy Company in Mount Olive, along with other family members. She also had been a cashier/clerk at Dollar General in Mount Olive.

Lisa leaves behind her husband, Jed; three children, Robert Chase Deaver and wife, Emily, of Rosewood, Raeford Shayne Deaver and fiancee, Samantha Sarson, of Davis, and Chelsey Breann Deaver Holland and husband, Phillip, of Mount Olive; her mother and step-father, Brenda E. and Mack Best, of Mount Olive; a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa B. and Gary Lynn Waters of Mount Olive; her mother-in-law, Geraldine Winders Deaver, of Mount Olive; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna D. and Alech Trollinger, of Grantham.

Also surviving are Lisa's ten grandchildren whom called her Lala, and whom she loved so dearly, Savannah, Hayden, Dawsyn, Carmen, Daison, Thomas, Braelyn, Watson, Carsyn, and Huxley. Too, there are many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

In death, she has now been reunited with her father, Jimmy Wayne Brock; her brother, Jeffrey Wayne Brock; her grandparents, the Rev. J. D. Eddins and Ruby Eddins, and Currie and Eva Brock; and her father-in-law, Robert Edward "Ed" Deaver.

A service at which to remember Lisa and the good, fun-loving life that she lived will be Monday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Following the service, friends and loved ones may greet the family at the funeral home, and at other times at the Deaver residence.
