FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation ServicesOn September 18, 2025, Lisa S. Evangelisto passed away. She was born on December 22, 1959 to the late Florence and late Dino Basso. She was the loving wife of Rick Evangelisto, devoted mother of Dena Skillman and husband Phil, Greg Rollman, and Rachel Rollman; cherished grandmother of Jessica, Alexandra, and Lucas; and dear sister of Shawn Holmes and husband Stan, Bob Marshall and wife Robin, Santina Shetterly and husband Bill, Michael Basso and wife Dawn. Lisa will be remembered for her strong devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She spent many years as a dedicated executive assistant at Mercy Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital. She enjoyed hosting holidays and family gatherings with an open door policy. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She was a passionate gardener, her flourishing garden was a great testament to her green thumb as well as the countless hours she spent tending to plants and learning all she could about every variety. She was an avid Ravens fan and hardly missed any games even while living out of state. She loved to Facetime with her grandchildren and hear about everything going on in their lives. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino and playing the slots. Some of her most cherished memories center around large family gatherings as well as the quiet moments spent at home with her husband and dog Winston. Lisa was a woman of immense strength and courage who continued to fight through life’s obstacles with everything she had, but complications from COPD eventually became too much to overcome. She will be deeply missed but there is no doubt her legacy of strength and commitment will live on in her loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the COPD Foundation.
