On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Lisa Gilmore, a beautiful soul, departed from us too soon.
Lisa was the daughter of Robert Gilmore and the late Willie Mae Gilmore. She was born on July 4, 1963.
Lisa graduated from Walker High in 1981 and went on to attend GA Tech, where she majored in Engineering. She later was employed with the IRS as a Financial Analyst and retired after 36 years of service. Lisa loved to work with her hands she enjoyed completing home improvement projects. She also enjoyed traveling to places near and far, places like Honduras. She took many cruises and she loved spending time with family and friends.
Lisa was a devoted caretaker of her beloved father and several friends. She was an avid Alabama "Roll Tide" fan. Lisa was a friend to many, she will be missed. Lisa leaves to cherish her memory father, Robert Gilmore, brother, Joshua Collars (Vanessa), sister, Robbie Gilmore, cousin/mother, Patricia Clark. Her Chicago family limb are uncle, Curtis Gilmore, his three daughters, three granddaughters, one great granddaughter, four step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter. Also best friend, Ernestine Lattimore, adopted sister, Judy Franklin, adopted sister, Vivian Dallas and a very supportive co-worker and friend, Tammy Garrett....May God Rest Her Soul!
