Lisa attended the University of Illinois-Chicago computer science program, where she discovered her true passion—helping others understand and embrace technology. She also loved learning about the healing properties of food and believed everyone is entitled to nourishing meals. She cherished her close friends and family deeply, and brought her own special light and laughter to every gathering.
Lisa was the devoted wife of Pablo Rivera for 25 loving years. She was the cherished sister of Emily (Joel), beloved daughter of Judith and stepdaughter of Judy, and adored niece of Winnie. She was a loving cousin to Giulia, Gina, Jenifer, Derric, Randall, and Todd, and a dear sister-in-law to Nicolas, Jose, Alejandro, Manuel, Enrriqueta, Reyna, Elvira and Delfina and daughter-in-law to Macrina. Lisa was treasured by her in-laws Rosi, Maria, Leticia, Alvaro, Aurelio, Raymundo and Nasario and to her many nieces and nephews.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father Thomas, her brother Lee, her Aunt Linda (Jessica) and father-in-law Pablo. Lisa’s legacy is one of insight, love and light. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
