Lisa Harshbarger Obituary
1966-2025
Lisa Irene Harshbarger, age 59, of South Shore, KY, passed gently away on February 27, 2025, while resting at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
Lisa, was born in the chilly days of winter, on January 31, 1966. She was the blessing of the late James L. and Rebecca J. Smith Moore. Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Boyd County High School. She enjoyed many things in life but most recently she found peace on the banks of the water fishing. She had a very loving heart when it came to her animals. She was a pet parent who would speak of her animals as if they were her own children. Lisa was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend to so many. Her legacy will live on though stories and memories for many years to come.
Lisa is survived by one daughter Amber Meadows, and her brother Ron Moore and his wife Cheryl of Rush, KY and one sister Sherry Dearborn and her husband Wayne of English, IN.
In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by her husband Gregory S. Harshbarger, and sister Karen Rakes.
A graveside service to honor the life of Lisa will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, beginning at 11am at Bellefonte Cemetery.

I am sorry that Lisa is gone so quickly. I wasn't close to her, but I admire her life as a nurse. Caring for others in a physical way takes dedication and fortitude. I was never a nurse, but have cared for elderly people, and that can have its challenges. God be with you, Ron, and your precious family.
