Lisa Ann Marie Hawks, born on May 20, 1961, in Aroostook, Maine, passed away on February 3, 2026. A dedicated professional, Lisa retired after a commendable 26-year career with the United Postal Service, where she was known for her warm demeanor and commitment to her community. Her love for the people she served was evident, as she enjoyed building relationships with those to whom she delivered mail.
Throughout her life, Lisa exemplified generosity, often engaging in charitable endeavors such as supporting Toys for Tots, reflecting her passion for giving back. Her kindness extended beyond her work, as Lisa was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In her personal life, Lisa had a deep appreciation for the simple joys, finding solace in hobbies such as gardening and spending time at the beach, most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished these moments, which brought her great happiness.
Lisa is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Helms (Brian), and her grandchildren, including granddaughter Karson Ferguson (Tucker) and grandsons Eli Helms and Ean Helms. She is also survived by her siblings: sisters Jaqueline Scism from Madawaska, ME, and Diane Ouellette (Robert) from Wallagrass, ME; as well as brothers Gilford Guerrette (Jeannine) from Fort Kent, ME, Roland Guerrette (Theresa) from St. Agatha, ME, Gary Guerrette (Joy) from Bristol, CT, and Richard Guerrette (Amy) from Frenchville, ME.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Yvette Guerrette, who undoubtedly instilled in her the values of kindness and community service that defined her life. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unwavering dedication to those around her, and the profound impact she had on family and friends alike.
