Lisa A. Johnson
December 17, 1975 – August 17, 2025
Lisa A. Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on August 17, 2025, at the age of 49. Born December 17, 1975, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Lisa was a woman whose heart was as big as her laugh — both of which touched everyone lucky enough to know her.
Lisa was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She married the love of her life, Rick Johnson, on March 3, 2001, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories with their children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Johnson; her children, Cesley Johnson (Urania, LA), Ashley Mills and husband Seth Mills (Kelly, LA), and Michael Johnson (Olla, LA); and her treasured grandchildren: Alora and Brailey Johnson, and Briar, Ryan, Caroline, and baby Mills. Lisa also leaves behind her siblings, Paul Hines and wife Chanette Hines, and Chris Hines; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends — all of whom she cherished deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Geneva Faye Hines; her brothers, Robert and Clint Hines; and her nephews, Devin and CJ Hines.
Lisa found joy in life’s simple pleasures: planting flowers, traveling with her family, sitting on the porch with a cup of Snickers-flavored coffee, music, playing frisbee, watching General Hospital, and spending every moment she could with her husband, children, and precious grandbabies. Her warmth, humor, and deep love for those around her were truly one-of-a-kind.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Brother John Norwood.
Lisa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her — a reminder of the beauty of a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family.
