Lisa (Stovel) Mannarino, age 68, of Howell, MI, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of January 1, 2025. Born on March 27, 1956 in Detroit, MI. Lisa attended Redford High School and furthered her education at Schoolcraft Community College pursuing accounting. Lisa started her accounting career and later in life found her true calling in home health care. A giving heart and a loving touch towards those in need as they faced their final chapter of life became her mission and included her mother and father, who she cared for with dignity, love and compassion, as only a daughter could.
Lisa was drawn to further her faith and found her home at Hidden Springs Church, under the leadership of Pastor Bill Tulip. It was here that she was baptized in the Holy Spirit and her walk with Jesus as her savior really began. Lisa became the caregiver for the Pastors wife Jean. After her passing Lisa became Pastor Bill's caregiver, leading to a deep friendship and furthering her walk with the Lord.
Lisa is survived by her loving family, including beloved brothers, Andy Mannarino, Tony (Michelle) Mannarino, Frank Mannarino, Gino Mannarino, younger sister Betty Mannarino and her Aunt Denise Lanzilotti. She also has extended family with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and even great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Marian Belmont and Rocco Mannarino, younger brother Dino Mannarino, her dear Uncles Frank and Joe Lanzilotti and special Aunt Patty Fendt, who she would spend countless hours sharing life's stories.
Lisa had an undeniable eye for collecting treasures of all kinds. From gadgets to keepsakes, she had it all. But Lisa's heart was even bigger than her ever-growing collection. If she knew someone else would cherish an item even half as much as she did, she'd happily gift it. Sharing that joy with others wasn't just a habit; it was one of her superpowers and she wielded it with love and laughter.
Lisa will be remembered for her generous heart, quick humor, and unwavering love for family and friends. Her compassion, faith, joy in life's little treasures, and dedication to helping her family will be her legacy. Though her time with us was too short, the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A funeral service honoring her dedication to her Christian faith, along with paying respects will be at Charles Step Funeral Home 18425 Beech Daly, Redfort, Twp, MI on Saturday January 4, 2025.
Pastor Matt Parks will officiate her celebration of life.
