It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Martinez on June 17, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1966, and later married her husband, John Martinez on August 13, 1988. Lisa was a daughter and a sister, to one a wife, to others a mother and an aunt; but more importantly she was a devoted nana. To many and all, she was a friend. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, John Martinez; her sister Mary (Larry) Harding; her children Tamara (Jacob) Johnson, Jonathan (Alix) Martinez; and her three grandchildren Julian, Maci, and Zander. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Agnes Glasgow, and her mother-in-law, Maureen Martinez. Lisa was known for her infectious laugh, her devotion to family and her will to never give up without a fight. She enjoyed crocheting, glamping, visiting the emerald beaches, outings with her friends and family, but most importantly, Lisa enjoyed her time given with her grandchildren who were the stars in her eyes. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Lisa will be dearly missed by all who know her. The family asks instead of flowers or plants; you please make a donation to your local cancer center.
