Lisa Morris Obituary
Besides her husband and parents, Lisa leaves a daughter, Katherine Morris and a son, Ryan Morris, both of Berlin; a brother, Andrew Melnyk and his wife Dorothy, of Newington; a sister, Laura Melnyk of Rocky Hill; Parents in-law; Richard and Catherine Morris of Tolland; and sister in-law Leslie and her husband Shawn Hannon of Ellington; nieces Hannah, Maddie, Ellie, Caroline; nephews Connor, Cooper, Brian; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family service will be held at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the education of her children or Breast Cancer Research. Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain, is assisting with arrangements. We were saddened to learn of Lisa´s passing. She helped us many times in the context of Joan Valenti´s office. Always kind, friendly, efficient, and professional. It was very obvious what a lovely and articulate woman she was. We extend our sympathies for such a tragic and untimely loss to her family and friends.

Tonight I was absolutely shocked to read about the passing of Lisa Morris. I have worked with Lisa throughout much of her career at Valenti Wealth Management. She was always friendly and supportive anytime I called the office for assistance. Lisa's professionalism and knowledge of the business made her an invaluable member of Joan's team and she will be greatly missed. Our very deepest condolences to Lisa's family and colleagues.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Lisa's passing. I knew her in a professional capacity - she helped me manage my finances first when my Nana, another client of Valenti, passed away and later on when my brother passed away. I was the executor of my brother's estate and a lot of paperwork needed to be created, funds needed to be moved over and plans had to be made for where to put what. She even found a hidden account a YEAR later and was instrumental in getting that transitioned over, too.
Lisa held my hand all along the way, helping me navigate this while grieving and teaching me a lot about the financial world during the process. I appreciate the grace and patience she offered me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was impacted by Lisa's professionalism, kindness and knowledge. Sending healing thoughts to her family during this hard time. I hope it's a comfort to know your wife, mother, sister leaves a strong legacy behind her.

My deepest condolences to Lisa´s family, friends and coworkers at LPL. I´ve known her from day 1 at LPL. She was always there for me to answer and questions I had on my accounts.
