Lisa Pilgrim Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory - Ball on Aug. 2, 2025.
Mrs. Lisa Marie Rollins Pilgrim, age 52, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 1, 2025, at her home in Ball, surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation for Mrs. Lisa will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tioga First Baptist Church. Services will be held on Tuesday at the church at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Tim Hisaw officiating. Interment will follow the service in Tioga Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lisa graduated high school in Natchez, MS in 1990. She worked as a substitute teacher in Rapides Parish for many years and also as a secretary for New Prospect and Alpine Churches. She later went on to graduate from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Mrs. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was a dedicated Elvis Presley fan, owning all types of memorabilia and visiting Graceland multiples times. Even though she adored Elvis, no one captured her heart more than Maverick, and he became her world once he was born. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Rollins, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Pilgrim, Sr.; sons, Buster Pilgrim and Payton Pilgrim (Kristian); grandson, Maverick Pilgrim; mother and stepfather, Era "Marie" and Pappy Lincecum; brothers, Luther Ray Rollins, II and David Rollins; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to extended their thanks to All Saints Hospice for their care and compassion during a difficult time.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Payton Pilgrim, Buster Pilgrim, Jim Pilgrim, David Rollins, Steven Desselles. Honorary Pallbearers are Austin McCurry, Weldon Nipper, Zach Desselles, David "E.T." Pilgrim, and her nieces and nephews.
