Ocala, FL, at the age of 53. Born on February 8, 1973, in the beautiful island of St. Thomas, Jamaica, Patrice was the cherished daughter of Merlene Roberts and Phillip McCalla. She carried the warmth of her Caribbean roots throughout her life, spreading joy and kindness wherever she went.
Patrice's life was a tapestry of dedication and passion, woven with the threads of her love for education and the arts. After her graduation from Andrew Jackson High School in 1993, she pursued her zeal for learning by obtaining an Associate's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. She went on to illuminate young minds as an educator in the Marion County Public School System, where her humor, creativity, and faith-filled spirit inspired both her colleagues and students.
Her legacy is carried on by her beloved children Theronese Moulton, Trevon Moulton, Alisha McCalla, and Alyssa Bailey, who were the center of her world. Patrice's joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Tyree Studivant, Kash'mere Blair, and Kingsley Blair, Juvel McDonald, Tori Martin and Trevorniece Moulton who brought immense happiness to her later years. Her unwavering support and guidance have left an indelible mark on their hearts.
Patrice's memory will also be treasured by her brothers, D'wain McCalla & Robert McCalla along with her adored nieces and nephews, Janielle and Toellane McCalla.
