Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church honoring the life of Lisa Ann Potier, 68, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Saturday.
Rev. George-Bede Ajuruchi, SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Burial will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
Lisa will be remembered for her unwavering faith and dedication to her family. Lisa enjoyed making crafts and sewing, and she found joy in sharing her talents with those she loved. Her home was a sanctuary of faith, where she held a weekly prayer group and Bible study, fostering a sense of community and support among her friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Sigmund Potier (Nicole), Timothy Robertson, Kerrick Jamel Jean Louis (Keena), Amari Robertson and Brea Hamilton; siblings, Phyllis Jean Louis (Harold), Vanessa Jean Louis, Gregory Jean Louis, Angela Jean Louis, Ceillie Williams, Cody Williams and Avis Taylor; grandchildren, Xavier Davis, Kylie Potier, Destine Potier, Sadarian Potier and Rachel Pourciaux; great-grandchildren, Dakota Moore, Savian Potier and Brixton Potier; her 1st cousin who was like a sister to her Donna Sam, close friend Linda Alexander; and her spiritual guide Marie Dorsey and Rev. Linda Harris.
She is preceded in death by her aunts that she considered her sisters Mary Jean Louis and Patricia Joseph, and uncle John Landry; her parents, Percy and Wilma Jean Louis; maternal grandparents Alton and Melba Potier.
Pallbearers will be Leo Dalcourt, Paul Potier, Sedarian Potier, Josh Dugas, Brelon Dugas, and Trailand Dartez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald Jean Louis, Timothy Robertson, Jr., Xavier Davis, Kerrick Jean Louis, Feylon Jean Louis, and Mendell Boyance.
