Lisa Pyper

Lisa Renae Pyper, age 53, of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, passed away surrounded by family and friends. Lisa was born on March 7, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of William J. Bussman and Aline Bernard. She was a 1990 graduate of Marceline High School and earned her Associate's Degree from Moberly Area Community College. For over 20 years, Lisa worked as a bookkeeper for Burdg, Dunham & Associates in Hamilton, Missouri. Lisa enjoyed traveling, bowling, spoiling her nephews, attending sporting events, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, going to plays, going to concerts, dinner theaters and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Aline Marshall of Chillicothe, MO; siblings, Errick (Leslie) Bussman of Marceline, MO, Justin Haley of Chillicothe, MO, Roger (Pat) Faulkner of Georgia, and Cathy Witt (Steve) of New Boston, MO; two nephews, Alex and Aiden Bussman; best friends and traveling buddies Candy and Barry Barton, of Moberly and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, William "Bill" and Bette Bussman, and one brother, Jason Haley. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline, Missouri, with Pastor Mark Schneider officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Marceline, Missouri.
